So, I've finally decided what my problem with album reviews has been-- they just take too much time. I'm teaching almost full time in Spain and when I get a break, I usually take a siesta and listen to music rather than write about it.
I've also found the answer-- Mini-Reviews. From now on, I'll give you 100-150 words on why you should or shouldn't listen to an album, I'll show you the cover art, the tracklist, tell you the songs not to miss, give it a rating and call it an afternoon. Not only will this help me, it will probably make it so I can write about more new releases.

Two Tracks from Lana Del Rey: 'Video Games' & 'Blue Jeans'
Last week I wasn't sure who Lana Del Ray was, but after listening to a pair of tracks, "Video Games", and "Blue Jeans", I haven't been able to get her music out of my head. There is something about the darkly inspiring, almost detached nature of her voice that keeps me coming back to the tracks.
Pretty sure Lana Del Rey will be a household name by the end of the year. Check it out for yourself below.
